ABOUT US :: Currently a team of 2 (Founder, Tech Lead) based in Ontario, Canada, building a platform/service that helps creators design and publish storytelling content with a unique "pick-a-path" twist for their social media followers. SEARCHING FOR :: We are looking for a 3rd co-founder to join as Creative Lead. This role would be responsible for managing social media strategy, marketing plans and branding. Why does it seem EVERYONE is looking for a CTO?“@Vince, yes I did point out software engineering as the necessary exception. A tech company developing shipping software exists for completely different reasons than a food delivery startup (despite both needing cloud IT services to succeed). Otherwise, it seems ultimately detrimental to the success of sites like Starthawk that when entrepreneurs are misguided about their aims, and not helped or educated, a huge failure at facilitating beneficial co-founder connections takes place. That can't be good for any of the parties involved.”Trust and protection of intellectual property when talking to others“Philip is spot on. Unless your idea involves something you invented or engineered that can be patented, NDAs are pointless near any early stage of a startup. Ideas are free. There is no market or cottage industry or even job title that is supported by "great ideas". That's why there are no such things as Senior Idea Analyst or VP of Ideas found anywhere. The good news is that great, good or even mediocre ideas can be converted to immense value through solid teamwork, execution, timing, positive market forces, receptive customers, etc. That's the real trick.”
