Does this make you the Founder or Co-Founder?“The distinction between **founder vs. co-founder** often depends on who originally had the idea and who joined later to bring it to life. If you're bringing in a **technical co-founder**, one key question is [how much equity for a technical co-founder](https://www.cleveroad.com/blog/technical-co-founder-equity/). Typically, equity allocation depends on their involvement—whether they're just building the MVP or contributing to long-term strategy. A range of **10% to 50%** is common, but it depends on factors like funding, product stage, and responsibilities.”
