What do you think makes a great cofounder match at this stage of a startup

I’ve been building ChairBoss, an AI-powered booking and business platform for beauty and wellness professionals.

Up to this point, I’ve bootstrapped the entire MVP myself. I’m very product- and tech-focused, and I genuinely enjoy being in the weeds — building flows, refining UX, and thinking through how the system should work end to end. ChairBoss is real, usable, and moving forward.

At the same time, building alone eventually becomes a bottleneck.

I’m at a stage where I’d love to bring on a cofounder who naturally leans into the outward-facing side of a startup — someone who enjoys telling the story, talking to people, opening doors, and helping turn a solid product into momentum. I’m happiest staying focused on product and tech, and I want a partner who’s excited to own growth, communication, and relationships.

This isn’t about needing “help” or giving up control. It’s about balance and building something stronger together instead of carrying everything solo.

If this resonates with you, or if you’ve been on the growth side of a product-led startup before, I’d love to hear your thoughts.

What do you think makes a great cofounder match at this stage of a startup?
